Creating a CLF3 People Directory Page

To display a list of staff or faculty whose profiles were created using a Faculty Profile Page, you can create a directory page.

The page will display specified individuals and key information about them:

  • Name
  • Job title
  • Phone number
  • Email
  • Office
  • Picture

How to Create a People Directory Page?

Follow these steps to create your directory:

  1. Add a Basic page to your website that will act as your directory.
  2. Add a List component to your page.
  3. Edit the List component:
    1. Specify how you want to build your directory: Child pages, Fixed list or Advanced search
    2. In Display as choose the Custom option
    3. In Custom Template field, add this path: /content/dam/sfu/assets/custom-lists/faculty-directory-clf3.txt
    4. In the CSS Class field add the following two classes: faculty-directory show-thumbnails
    5. Click OK to preview your directory page
    6. Once you're ready to publish your directory, activate the page.
