Designing Your Home Page
The new home page template is designed to accommodate full-width static and dynamic images, news listings, event calendar feeds, and more. The Column component has been enhanced to allow for a variety of home page layouts. Learn how to take advantage of these features to create your home page.
The New Column Component
The new Column Control component uses the same functionality as previous versions of the Column component. When adding a Column Control component to your page, you will need to set the number of columns required and their relative widths via the Column Layout drop-down menu. Additional features of the new component include:
- Full Width: Any components placed within a column with the "Full Width" checkbox selected will stretch to fit the full width of the page or container. Use this for the banner image on your home page by placing an Image component within a Column Control component with the 1 Column (100%) layout option.
- No Spacing: Components will not contain any padding or margin — there will be no vertical or horizontal gaps between components.
