Following the success of our first international conference in 2003, attended by more than 300 participants from Canada and some 15 other countries, the IERG will again host an international conference on imagination and education from July 14-17, 2004.
Like last year’s event, the 2nd International Conference on Imagination and Education will bring together scholars, students, administrators, policy makers and educational practitioners from around the world to examine the role and import of imagination in teaching and learning. The conference will once again be held in stunning Vancouver, Canada, a cosmopolitan city surrounded by beautiful mountains and beaches with world-class international restaurants, great shopping and arts facilities and unmatched sporting venues. The conference venue will be the elegant Coast Plaza Hotel located on a quiet residential street in Vancouver’s vibrant West End, next to beautiful English Bay and famous Stanley Park and convenient for great shopping and dining.
Additional information on the conference venue, traveling to Vancouver, as well as booking accommodations can be found in the Conference Site section of this website.
