Student Unions

Get Involved

Student unions are elected, student-run bodies that represent undergraduate students. They bridge the gap between you, your department and Faculty, and the Simon Fraser Student Society. You automatically belong to the FASS Student Union, Society for Arts and Social Sciences (SASS), as well as the Departmental Student Union (DSU) for your major and/or minor department.

Members of the student unions organize social, academic and career related events for students, may represent the opinion of students in departmental meetings, and are, in general, working together to better represent the needs and interest of students in a particular department.
