MATH 152; or MATH 155 or MATH 158 with a grade of at least B. Recommended: It is recommended that MATH 240 or 232 be taken before or concurrently with MATH 251.
Description
CALENDAR DESCRIPTION:
Rectangular, cylindrical and spherical coordinates. Vectors, lines, planes, cylinders, quadric surfaces. Vector functions, curves, motion in space. Differential and integral calculus of several variables. Vector fields, line integrals, fundamental theorem for line integrals, Green's theorem. Quantitative.

Students seeking to participate in these special lectures must:
1) register in MATH251 Section D100 during the normal registration period;
2) complete a written application and submit it to the Department of Mathematics (link to application);
3) meet a minimum grade requirement of A in MATH152.
Students selected for these special lectures (Section D300) will be notified prior to the start of term, and informed about the classroom location.
