Description

CALENDAR DESCRIPTION:

This course provides a basic integrative overview of how cognitive science aspires to integrate the empirical findings, theories, and methods of psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, computing science and philosophy. Students with credit for COGS 200 may not take COGS 100 for further credit. Breadth-Hum/Social Sci/Science.

COURSE DETAILS:

This section of COGS 100 is offered as a blended course. Each week students will meet for 2 hours in person and complete 1 hour of course content online either before or after the in-person meeting.

Grading

  • Mid-Term Exam: 2 x 20% each 40%
  • Participation: 10%
  • Writing Assignments: 20%
  • Final Exam: 30%
