CALENDAR DESCRIPTION:

Supervised experience in analysis and evaluation of treatment strategies to be used with classroom students having learning disabilities.

COURSE DETAILS:

Education 424 offers SFU students a comprehensive exploration of assessment and instructional strategies tailored for children with learning difficulties, with a specific focus on reading difficulties. The course covers understanding inclusive education, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), English as an Additional Language (EAL) and learning disabilities, individualized planning, differentiated instruction, assessment techniques, and intervention plans. Lectures, discussions, and case studies will deepen students' understanding and practical skills.Top of Form
