Student loans and grants (for full-time and part-time studies) are available to SFU undergraduate and graduate students. If you are receiving sponsorship, it may not exclude you from receiving student loan funding. Government student loans may consist of loan funding which is repayable and grant funding which is non-repayable.

Although studnt loan funding is repayable, there are many debt management programs available which can assist you if you are financially unable to make your payments. Please note:

• Government student loan funding is available for the Indigenous University Prep Program.
• The Executive MBA in Indigenous Business and Leadership program is not eligible for government student loan funding. See Ineligible Programs for further details.
