Graduate Students
Prospective graduate students interested in working in our laboratory are encouraged to read our publications and visit the
lab website for further details on our research. In addition, please contact Dr. Sparrey for more recent research and new project ideas. Funding may be available for outstanding graduate student candidates.
Exceptional students are encouraged to obtaining independent funding from NSERC,
and CIHR Doctoral and Masters Awards (please
note only Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for these funding programs).
Co-op and Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students and co-op students are encouraged to make an appointment with Dr. Sparrey to discuss their research interests. Student projects are designed to be completed in one co-op or summer work term and
are expected to result in a conference abstract or journal publication. Outstanding SFU undergraduates are encouraged to apply for an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award
