What is a Skills Expo?
EVERY WEDNESDAY come visit us to learn and show off your technical skills! The 1st hour is instruction led by our TPE's or mentors. The second hour is open to any question or project support.This is an opportunity for peers of all years to get together and teach and learn "tricks of the trade"; we're talking about things like 3-D modeling tips, how to use Illustrator, Photoshop, In-Design, and the rest of the Adobe Suite, how to video edit, learning programming in python or Java, etc. It saves you hours of frustration in learning tools and programs AND you get to meet fellow students who share interest in media and technology. If you are a student with the skills, this is a chance to give back to the community too. It's win-win, and who doesn't like a win-win scenario? =D
