Do I need to add students to my course?

No. Students are added to your course automatically.

When do students show up in my course once I have created my course?

Once a course is created in SIMS, its Canvas shell is available for creation the following day. Students will then show up in two hours after the shell is created.

When is a student added if they are added to the course after the start date?

It usually takes 3 to 5 business days for a student to be added to Canvas from the date they are added in Sims

When is a student dropped from my Canvas course if they drop the course?

When a student drops a course in SIMS, it usually takes 1 day for the student to be removed from the Canvas course.
