Partners & Funders
Partners
The CCAIHG is pleased to partner with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) at Simon Fraser University (SFU). The Centre has adopted a shared governance model that reflects the strong partnership of SFU and FNHA that has emerged in the context of a research program on health governance co-managed by the partners. SFU and FNHA believe that hosting a global dialgue on Indigenous approaches to health and wellness in the context of Indigenous health governance, and bringing together communities, Nations, researchers, policymakers, students, healers, and administrators, to build and share ideas and knowledge and develop strategies for governance will contribute signficantly to the advancement of health and wellness for First Nations in BC and Indigenous peoples and communities worldwide.
Funders
The CCAIHG gratefully acknolwedges the generous financial support of funding agencies that support its research activities and projects.
