Access to Reports
Instructor report access is managed directly by the CES team to ensure that every instructor who taught in a given term receives a CES report for each course that had a survey.
In accordance with SFU's Data Security Standard, CES reports are also available to employees who require access to fulfill their role responsibilities at the university. In addition to instructors, reports are needed by academic unit leadership, for example, Chairs, Directors, Deans and their associates as well as Managers of Academic and Administrative Services and Program Assistants.
Managers of academic units are typically best positioned to determine, or to effectively delegate the determination of, who should have access to reports within their unit. Each term, academic unit managers use the CES portal to update report viewers and ensure access is revoked for those who no longer need it.
