As Director of Professional Programs (1997–2004, 2007–2013), I have headed:

  • the creation and funding of new programs in First Nations Teacher Education ($75,000 from the BC Ministry of Education),
  • the development of the New Canadian Teacher education program ($10,000 from Multiculturalism BC and $150,000 per annum from the Ministry of Education), and
  • the design, development and implementation of the Professional Qualification Program ($200,000 per annum from the Ministry of Education), and a seven-year program with the University College of the Fraser Valley ($250,000 per annum).

I have developed and oversee an international student exchange program between the Alaska Highway Consortium on Teacher Education (AHCOTE) and Sam Sharpe Teachers College in Jamaica ($500,000 bursary and operations budget).
