At CREATE, our mission is to analyze transformation of urban transportation through innovative research and advanced tools designed to achieve sustainable decarbonization. By harnessing the power of open-source codes and leading software such as MOVES, SMOKE, WRF, CMAQ, and MATSim, alongside our proprietary in-house developed solutions, we investigate comprehensive scenarios that could shape the future of urban mobility.

UTEC is our  web platform that democratizes access to these powerful tools, making them available to researchers and urban planners worldwide. Hosted on Amazon AWS infrastructure, IMPACT ensures seamless access to a growing suite of modules tailored for urban transportation analysis and decarbonization strategies.

We  present UTEC, the first tool available on the platform. UTEC serves as an intuitive web interface designed to streamline the preparation of data for the MOVES emissions modeling system. With UTEC, users can efficiently populate the MOVES mobile source emission inventory and leverage robust post-processing capabilities to visualize emissions data through detailed maps and charts. This enables researchers to gain actionable insights and effectively communicate their findings.
