Tutor Stories

Storytelling is integral to the process of learning and central to the Friends of Simon program as stories help tutors connect to students and build literacy skills. Stories also serve to pass on knowledge, experiences and advice helps tutors support eachother as educators in learning how to better support students.

Following Meguido Zola's prompts for storytelling, Friends of Simon Tutors share their "Aha!", "Uh-oh!", and "Haha!" moments while tutoring. Through videos, writing and drawings tutors share their experiences and reflections with the program.
