What technology do I need to participate in this virtual event?

You must have access to a video conferencing tool (e.g. Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, GoToMeeting) to participate in this virtual event. Please ensure you have the proper platform license which will allow you to create a single video-chat session for up to 2.5 hours. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the technology or provide any technical support to your tool.

Can I have more than one representative attending this event?

Absolutely! You can send as many staff to this event as you see fit but we recommend you to have at least two staff assisgned to this event. This will provide you with the option to take turns in hosting sessions or offer breakout rooms.

Why are you not using a virtual fair platform for this event?

Virtual fair platforms are handy but also very expensive. With the interest of keeping this event as low cost as possible, we have decided to adopt this format. While this event may not be as fancy as other fairs, you will still get to meet all the great talents that SFU has to offer!

Do I have to offer all six sessions? May I host one big open session instead?

To help keep registration process simple and sessions accessible to our students, we kindly ask all exhibitors to adhere to our schedule and offer all six sessions at the designated time slots.
