SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES

Public policy students have the opportunity to undertake overseas internships in Bangladesh. Several Masters projects on development policy topics have been published by the Centre for Policy Research, a "virtual" policy institute linked to the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) in Dhaka. The latest, released in August 2008,  is a revised version of a project on power sector reform. See Nancy Norris, "A New Mandate for the Rural Electrification Board," available at http://www.sfu.ca/cstudies/international/bangladesh.htm

Please visit the Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR) Seminars and Workshops site to view listings of current and past speakers in the CPPR Brown Bag Seminar Series.

On May 27, 2005 the CPPR and the Public Policy Program hosted the Urban Aboriginal Education Colloquium. Please visit the colloquium site for more details.
