Public policy students have the opportunity to undertake overseas internships in Bangladesh. Several Masters projects on development policy topics have been published by the Centre for Policy Research, a "virtual" policy institute linked to the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) in Dhaka. The latest, released in August 2008, is a revised version of a project on power sector reform. See Nancy Norris, "A New Mandate for the Rural Electrification Board," available at http://www.sfu.ca/cstudies/international/bangladesh.htm
On May 27, 2005 the CPPR and the
Public Policy Program hosted the Urban Aboriginal Education
