Language, Cognition, and Computation (LangCogComp)

The LangCogComp group is a learning community that connects what you learn in linguistics, cognitive science, and computational courses and extends this knowledge to do interesting things. We meet virtually via Zoom every third Tuesday of the month (7-8pm). In our meetings, we give presentations, discuss progress on work in progress, and plan future meetings. The community is student-centered, where students lead on projects and collaborate to do something valuable to their careers. The LangCogComp group is a positive and supportive environment for learning, and we are serious about protecting the psychological safety of our members. Current interests include language documentation, computational morphology, network science, and psycholinguistics. Email <> if interested in joining.
