CC 4.0- About Us

Creating Connections 4.0 will bring together people of all genders and backgrounds for two days to discuss issues of personal and professional development, networking, and inspiration. This is the first time that SFU will host Creating Connections and we are very excited to continue the tradition of creating an opportunity for a meaningful dialogue about the participation of women in Engineering, Science, and Technology. The hope is to engage individuals and organizations to create a world where everyone can explore and participate in the opportunities provided by engineering, science and technology to improve our world.

Creating Connections is for people of any gender who want to engage in a meaningful dialogue about diversity in the Engineering, Science, and Technology disciplines: academics, students, industry professionals, people in career transition, managers and HR professionals, as well as members of the wider community. Our discussion will be broad and varied, and topics will be applicable in many situations and to many groups.

Creating Connections 4.0 is the 4th installment in the Creating Connections conference series, the most recent conference occurring in May 2013 at the University of British Columbia.
