Dialogue and Engagement Volunteer

SFU’s Community Engagement and Dialogue Unit (CE&D) supports the university and community by convening evidence-informed conversations on the world's complex challenges, and expands the capacity for mutual learning, co-creation, and shared problem solving.  CE&D Event Volunteers will assist in hosting inclusive and transformative events with the many initiatives of the Unit including but not limited to the Centre for Dialogue and SFU Public Square.

Event Volunteers will contribute in a variety of ways such as: Pre-event planning and logistics; Day-of event hospitality (working the registration table, catering, room set-ups, audience management; Table facilitation and note-taking; Social media, photography, composing post-event recaps and blogs; and more!

Gain event-hosting, communication, and leadership skills, connect with community, and enjoy behind-the-scenes access to exciting public events — all while making a real impact.
