Media Minds

Media Minds is an after-school program for youth in grades 6-9 that promotes the growth of self-esteem, positive social connections, skill building and creativity through film education. Team-based workshops were hosted by SFU students which boosted their interpersonal skills while helping youth integrate into and engage in their community. Student volunteers created new activities or altered existing activities to meet the needs and interests of the participating youth.
