Pathways to Education
The Pathways to Education program helps students graduate from high school and successfully transition into post-secondary education, training, or employment. Student volunteer roles included tutoring and mentoring high school students in at least one core subject. They adapted tutoring strategies responding to learner needs, collaborated with program staff, and participated in inclusive mentoring activities. Student volunteers practiced active listening, coaching, advising, and providing feedback when working with youth.
