ELC Activities Volunteer

The English Language and Cultural Program (ELC) offers 8- or 4-week programs to international students who wish to increase their English proficiency and cultural fluency, and to prepare for entry into university or the workplace. The ELC Activities Volunteer assists the Activities Coordinator in preparing and carrying out extracurricular activities where the students can socialize, practice their English, and experience Vancouver. This position is ideal for those who are interested in event planning and enjoy working with students. Activities generally take place on Tuesdays after 3:30pm, Wednesday evenings and Fridays after 12:30pm (off-campus activities). The ELC Activities Volunteer must be available for a minimum of four Friday afternoons in an 8-week term.

  • Kayaking
  • Indoor rock climbing
  • Hockey
  • Ice skating
