Embark Volunteer

Embark is a student-run campus group created to make real change on campus by giving strength to students’ vision for a sustainable institution and collaborating with SFU administration. Embark volunteers work in a number of ways to make SFU a more sustainable community. Our volunteers become informed about sustainability at SFU by participating in initiatives and events. Here are just a few examples of opportunities for students to get involved:

  • helping to plan campaigns
  • writing for Embark's blog
  • tending our Learning Garden plots
  • helping Harvest Box customers receive their boxes
  • digging into the governance of the organization

Whether you've worked with sustainability projects before or it's a completely new area for you, we'd love to make change happen with you.
