EnvironMentors

New SFU students have a lot of questions, concerns and curiosity about what the next stage of their lives will bring them. The EnvironMentors program focuses on building community through peer support, and provides new students with a safe and supportive network during their transition from secondary school to the Faculty of Environment at SFU.

EnvironMentors are volunteers drawn from senior Environment programs (minimum 60 units completed by end of April 2018). Through training and experience, they gain leadership and communication skills while strengthening their own community.  EnvironMentors are not just passionate about SFU and their program, they’re also passionate about giving back to the SFU community and fostering a culture of connectedness.
