Fair Trade Ambassador

The Fair Trade Ambassador Program at SFU recognises students who have gone through extensive training on Fairtrade and community engagement. Students designed their year-long engagement plan with the program supervisor, ensuring they worked on projects relevant to their interests and suiting their skillsets. Projects included planning a Fairtrade fashion show, coordinating conference sessions on Fairtrade, planning and executing campaigns and events, and developing social media outreach strategies. This made students go-to Fairtrade ‘experts’ on campus and allowed them to build influential networks.
