Welcome Leader

Student Engagement and Retention is seeking reliable, positive and diverse student volunteers to help us welcome new students and prepare them for success at SFU.

Welcome Day is a one-day orientation event aimed at welcoming new students to the SFU community and supporting their transition to the university. New students are given the opportunity to meet their peers as well as key faculty and staff, and become oriented to the campus and its resources.

Welcome Leader applications open on myinvolvement.sfu.ca

Select one group interview to attend (returning Welcome Leaders do not need to attend)

August 24 or August 25
Select one training date to attend

August 29       
Surrey Welcome Day

August 30       
Burnaby Welcome Day
