Welcome Leader

Student Recruitment and Transition is seeking reliable, positive and diverse student volunteers to help us welcome new students and prepare them for success at SFU.

Welcome Day is a one-day orientation event aimed at welcoming new students to the SFU community and supporting their transition to the university. New students are given the opportunity to meet their peers as well as key faculty and staff, and become oriented to the campus and its resources.

March 6 - May 31           Express your interest to become a Welcome Leader. 
June 1 - July 3 Apply to be a Surrey or Burnaby Campus Welcome Leader. 
July 11 & 12 Selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.
July & August Training
August 30 Surrey Welcome Day 
August 31 Burnaby Welcome Day
