Biography
Jennifer is the Executive Director of Administration presiding over strategic planning, communications and operations in the Office of the Vice-President, Finance and Administration at Simon Fraser University. She comes to SFU with over twelve years of marketing, strategic planning and project management experience in the telecommunications and advertising industries.
From Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal to Shanghai, Taiwan and Hong Kong, Jennifer has brought her innovative approach, proactive thinking, creative solutions and a “can do” attitude to her domestic and international corporations and clienteles. She oversaw the set-up of two organizations from the ground up. One, a new telecommunications start-up in the Canadian market. The other, established operations in Shanghai, China for the largest Canadian Advertising Agency.
Jennifer has a bachelor degree in international trade from Tamkang University in Taiwan and a diploma in Marketing Communications Management from BC Institute of Technology in Canada. Jennifer is a first generation immigrant and strives to integrate equity, diversity and inclusion into her professional practice. She continues to give back and mentor the diverse community.
