SFU Vancouver is distinct from the main SFU campus located in Burnaby which is quite far away from the conference site. TRANSPORTATION
Traveling from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Harbour Centre and downtown hotels is very convenient. From the airport, travelers can take Canada Line Skytrain for a 25-minute ride to the Waterfront Station in downtown. From there, it is just a 2-minute walk to the conference site.
ACCOMMODATION
Days Inn Vancouver is just a couple of blocks away from SFU Harbour Centre. Single/Double rate is approximately CAD $140/night at the moment. Delta Hotels Vancouver Downtown Suites is just across the street from SFU Harbour Centre. Single/Double rate is approximately CAD $250/night currently. Holiday Inn and Suites Vancouver Downtown is a longish walk away, but lower rates (at the moment, ~CAD $180). There are many other hotels in downtown Vancouver that are in walking distance to the conference site. It would be easiest to use a travel website to search for downtown Vancouver hotels and make a reservation.
