Cosmology
Levon Pogosian
Professor of Physics, Simon Fraser University
Levon Pogosian received his PhD from Case Western Reserve University and was a research fellow at Imperial College London, Tufts University, and Syracuse University before joining SFU. He is a theoretical cosmologist working on a broad range of topics that can be collectively described as using cosmological observations to test fundamental physics. He is particularly interested in cosmological tests of gravity and dark energy, primordial magnetic fields and other relics of the early universe, as well as the Hubble tension and other cosmological tensions that have emerged in recent years.
