Lindy has been part of the North Shore Restorative Justice family for almost a decade, first as a volunteer facilitator, then as the manager of the school initiative, and more recently as the vice chair of the Board. Her background is in education and psychology and she is a writer, a coach and a certified Guided Autobiography instructor.
Lindy and her family emigrated from South Africa in 1997. She is passionate about her community, and for the past 6 years has been a member of the North Shore Immigrant Advisory Council. In 2018 she received the West Vancouver Citizen of the Year award from the Chamber of Commerce. Lindy has worked with schools, sports teams, families, children and various organisations and her greatest thrill is witnessing human beings uncover the magic in their stories.
