Areas Suitable for Gathering Cedar Boughs
Cedar boughs are used for various purposes associated with ceremony. Gathering cedar boughs simply requires the presence of red or yellow cedar trees. In addition, as cedar is often picked fresh the day of its use, road access is seen as a positive characteristic as it allows for quick transport of the boughs to where they are being used. Thus, the factors included here are tree species and proximity to roads.
