Confronting Global Capital: Strengthening Labour Internationalism and Transnationalism Today

July 12, 2017

Hamilton, ON
October 12-14, 2017

We want to invite you to participate in our conference next fall at McMaster University organized by trade unionists (and worker-activists) and academics. The purpose of the conference is to evaluate past practices of Canadian labour internationalism and to discuss strategies to strengthen this work.

The conference will tackle issues around transnational organizing, building international solidarity campaigns, mobilizing increased rank and file participation, fostering political connections and connecting internationalism with migrant workers struggles. Our goal will not only be to debate and analyze, but to come up with concrete proposals and ideas for advancing international labour solidarity.
