SEEKING INDIVIDUALS 55 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER WHO SELF-IDENTIFY AS NON-HETEROSEXUAL AND/OR NON-CISGENDER

Principal Investigator: Patrick Aubert, Masters Candidate

We are conducting a research project to explore the life stories of older adults who self-identify as gender and sexual minorities. Our aim is to develop a better understanding of the ways in which social practices and social conversations shape and inform the identity development of gender and sexual minorities as they age and the impact that this has on this population’s health and well-being.

If you:
Are over the age of 55
Self-identify with a non-heterosexual sexual orientation
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, two-spirit, pansexual, asexual…
And/or
Self-identify as non-cisgender
Trans-identified, intersex, an identity not limited by binary definitions of gender…

We would like to have you participate in a study comprising two (2) one-on-one interviews.

If you would like more information about the study, or if you would like to volunteer to participate, please contact the principal investigator at jrpaubert@sfu.ca or at 604-773-9636.
