Transforming talk into community action
The Morris
J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue stimulates public debate of
key societal issues through an array of distinguished programs.
The endowed public dialogue series, which asked the question
"Who Cares?", was one of 500 programs hosted by the new centre
in 2001. Forty representatives from B.C.'s private and public
sectors gathered monthly to pursue new ways of thinking about
social obligations in a civil society, and ultimately, to generate
creative action among civic, corporate and community leaders.
