A Day at the Races

June 14, 2000

No, it's not the Marx Brothers. It is, rather, the SFU Retirees Association who will be attending the races, at Hastings Park, on June 14.

It's not about winning.

It's about the RUSH of adrenaline when the horses break from the gate ...theBLUR of jewel-toned silks as they STREAK by in a THUNDER of hooves ...the breathless ANTICIPATION as your horse comes up on the outside ...

Okay, it's about winning.
