Burnaby Lyric Opera's Production of Don Giovanni, James Cowan Theatre, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts

Mozart's musical masterpiece comes to life again with the Burnaby Lyric Opera production team and the best of B.C. operatic talent. Don Giovanni is a young man living a life of seducing one woman after another until he encounters defeat in three women. All vow vengeance on Don Giovanni and his harassed servant Leporello. Will they succeed? Will Don Giovanni repent or will he be punished for his sins? Will Silvio Berlesconi be next?

The plan for the day looks as follows:

before 2:00 Members may wish to have lunch at the Shadbolt Centre. At the entrance to the theatre there is a small informal cafeteria that serves soup, sandwiches, and drinks.

2:00 -- 4:00 Don Giovanni (Tickets for this performance are $17, and may be purchased on-line at http://shadboltcentre.com/ or by phone or in-person.)

4:00 -- ??? Meet at the home of Evelyn & Leigh Palmer for coffee/tea and conversation about the production or other matters of import.

The Palmer home address is 6588 Deer Lake Avenue...very close to the Shadbolt Centre. Walk south down the lane toward the lake to the last house.
