The Science of Communication CMNS 253 (3)

Students will engage with the more technical and scientific elements of communication studies in order to develop skills in the essential field of science communication. Students will gain important literacies about the way science has influenced communication technologies and thus cultural practices of communication. Through a variety of assignments students will gain critical and historical understanding of the field of communication. Students with credit for CMNS 253W may not take this course for further credit.
