IT Services at the Burnaby campus is proud to present Full Lecture Recording service in our lecture theatres. This service include all of audio, video, and presentation recording for your lectures.

Features of the Full Lecture Recording Service
Here are some of the features you can expect to see from this service:
All the material being projected on the screen is captured.
Video recording of the stage.
Capture all of audio, video and presentation.
Audio includes instructors and presenters speaking through the microphones, media, etc.
Video includes instructors and presenters located at the front stage.
Presentation includes all materials being projected on the digital projector screen.
Playback supported on all platforms: PC, tablets, and smartphones*
Onscreen text is put through an OCR process. Keywords are indexed and searchable.
Are all courses recorded?
No. Recordings are only made when specifically requested by the instructor and only in specific rooms where this service is available.
Can I use this service to record a meeting or conference?
IT Services hopes to make this available later in 2015. Currently this service is available as a pilot program for credit courses only.
When are recordings available?
Recordings are published within 2 hours of the end of the class.
Do I need to wear a microphone?
Yes, in most cases, you should wear the wireless microphone provided.
Who can request a course be recorded?
Only the instructor. Please make this request via the online form.
Can I make the recordings available in Canvas?
Yes! Instructions are available here.
