Creating space for transformative conversations
Upcoming
Surrey’s Transit Needs, and the Transit Referendum, March 6
The next City Conversations will be at SFU Surrey’s Open House! Join SFU Public Square for a conversation on the city’s ambitious plans to add major transit facilities for the region’s fastest-growing area. What will get built, where, and when? What will it cost, and who will pay? Why and how will car drivers benefit? How do Surrey’s plans mesh with the Transit Referendum that the Province says must take place?
We’ve invited senior Surrey officials, and a representative of Surrey’s business community. Gordon Price, a prolific and perceptive commenter on the region’s transportation, urban design and development, will also present. Then it’s your turn!
When: Thursday, March 6, 2014
Time: 5:45pm - 6:45pm
Location: SFU Surrey Campus, 13450 102 Avenue, Room 3270
