Dialogue Fellow, Merran Smith Launches: New Economy Canada

With over 45 members, including Teck Resources Limited, GE Vernova, EllisDon, Siemens Energy, First Nations Major Projects Coalition and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. They advocate for economic reconciliation, increased clean energy infrastructure, policy tools, skills training and support for clean innovation.

Our diverse members share the view that to compete and win, we must proactively embrace change and the opportunities that come with it, and be laser-focused on action."

New Economy Canada's first event will take place in Victoria, B.C., on November 22-23, 2023. This event aims to catalyze action among provincial policy-makers on the economic transition. Additional events in Toronto and Ottawa scheduled for 2024.
