Dialogue Dispatch: December 18, 2025
March 03, 2026
Over the past year, we have observed a quiet groundswell developing in Canada. Aware of the many challenges facing Canadian democracy, leaders, organizations and community members have been holding conversations about what it means to not only reinforce the strengths of Canadian democracy, but also to re-imagine how we practice democracy to meet the needs of the 21st Century.
These conversations are starting to coalesce around concrete visions, ideas and opportunities. Today's Dialogue Dispatch highlights some of these and invites you to join the conversation. We look forward to moving forward with this momentum in 2026!
In this edition of Dialogue Dispatch
- First Report of the Special Committee on Democratic and Electoral Reform
- Activating the Maturity Model for Public Participation
- Announcing the SFU Demshot Challenge
- Op-Ed: If democracy matters, why isn't it funded in the federal budget?
