Biography

Torsten has taught at universities and colleges in, Canada, Denmark and Finland. His dissertation was on the emotions in literature from Greek thought to the Renaissance, specifically in relation to Shakespearean drama. His interests include: Shakespeare; Machiavelli and early modern political thought; revenge tragedy; classical backgrounds including Greek drama; film noir, crime fiction and Hitchcock.
