About the Award

In partnership with Mitacs, SFU International has launched a program to support new and developing international research collaborations called the “SFU-Mitacs Globalink Award" program. This program supports Canadian-based research collaborations between Canada and select partner countries.

The program will award research projects with Globalink Research Awards to support the mobility of graduate and postdoctoral students between collaborating teams (inbound and outbound). Each award is valued at $6000 towards conducting 12-24-week research projects. Project proposals may request up to 5 research awards within a single application unless otherwise indicated. Projects are required to contribute $2000 in matching funds per award unless specified otherwise. Please refer to the calls for specific conditions.
