RETURN TO CAMPUS

REMINDER: COMPLETE VACCINATION STATUS SURVEY

SFU recently launched a short survey to determine the vaccination status of faculty, staff and students. Please fill out this anonymous survey, as it will provide us with valuable insight on how we can best support everyone on campus during the upcoming term.

Look for an email from SFU’s Office of Institutional Research and Planning in your personal SFU email inbox from Friday, August 27. You can use a computer or mobile device to access the short survey by clicking on the link in your email. The survey should take no more than a few minutes to complete.

If you have any questions, please contact SFU’s Office of Institutional Research and Planning at irpadmin@sfu.ca.

CAMPUS SERVICES WHAT TO EXPECT THIS FALL

Information services, campus safety, parking, food, bookstores and other services are essential to SFU’s day-to-day operations and help make the university a great place to learn, study and work. Check out SFU’s Return to Campus website for updates on campus services and what to expect this fall.

DO YOU DRIVE TO CAMPUS?

On Tuesday, August 31, the complimentary parking program at SFU Burnaby comes to an end. Parking & Sustainable Mobility has announced several new updates to make your return-to-campus commute easier, including a contactless parking system, a 10-day FlexPass option and online purchasing for staff and faculty permits.

TAKE A FRIEND TO COFFEE

SFU Ancillary Services has teamed up with Renaissance Coffee, Starbucks, Blenz and Nemesis to distribute 3,000 coffee vouchers at all campuses. There's never been a better time to explore SFU and have a chat while supporting campus amenities.

Card distribution begins on Tuesday, August 31 at welcome events and from ambassadors.

LUNCH, DISCOVER + CONNECT

On Wednesday, September 1, bring your lunch and take a tour of the new stadium at the Burnaby campus. This is the latest instalment of Lunch, Discover + Connect — an event series for faculty and staff to connect, discover what’s new on campuses and re-discover some of our favourite spots.

Register for this free event.
