Mechatronic Systems Engineering director and professor John Shen has been inducted into the IEEE's International Symposium on Power Semiconductor Devices and ICs (ISPSD) Hall of Fame. He has been recognized for his contributions to high-frequency power metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) and his leadership in organizing the ISPSD conference which was held in Hong Kong this year. The ISPSD Hall of Fame honours individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing power semiconductor technology and/or in sustaining the success of the ISPSD.
