Research Impact Canada
SFU is a member of Research Impact Canada (RIC), a pan-Canadian network committed to maximizing research impact for the public good by knowledge sharing, community and capacity building.
RIC is a pan-Canadian network committed to helping universities and other organizations across Canada maximize the impact of research for communities. RIC builds knowledge mobilization capacity by hosting trainings and a national, bilingual community of practice for its 40+ member institutions. RIC's website also hosts a large library of knowledge mobilization resources.
The Knowledge Mobilization Hub facilitates SFU's membership to RIC by serving on committees, attending and presenting at events, and co-leading the annual knowledge mobilization training program, MobilizeU. The KM Hub also attends the RIC annual general meeting to connect with other RIC members and learn about the knowledge mobilization supports and services they offer to improve and expand our own supports and services.
