Drs. Hali Kil and Joanna Peplak in the Department of Psychology are seeking a graduate student (preferred Clinical or Counselling Psychology areas) to fill the position of Research Assistant on the PACT Project (Perspectives and Adjustment of Climate-displaced Teens).
Volunteer Research Assistant
Dr. Joanna Peplak and Dr. Hali Kil are seeking a volunteer undergraduate Research Assistant to join our team. The goals of the PACT Project are to understand how displacement affects youth mental health and well-being and to identify community and social services that can best support these youth. We are particularly interested in climate-displaced youths’ experiences, recognizing that climate displacement often coincides with other forms of displacement and loss.
Youth Advisors
We are looking for Youth Advisors aged 14–24 living in Canada who have experienced a climate disaster OR have been forced to leave home due to political conflict.
