i2I Skills Training Program

Interested in moving your research beyond the lab? Discover how i2I Skills Training teaches researchers relevant commercialization skills.
The i2I Skills Training Program is designed to help scientists and engineers develop an entrepreneurial mindset so they can refine their innovation ideas, navigate marketplace challenges, and successfully commercialize their inventions. It is uniquely tailored to address the high uncertainty, long development timelines, and capital intensity that characterize science-based ventures.
Funding: Generously sponsored by NSERC; admission includes the program training costs, and for eligible participants an additional $3,000 stipend in the second term.

Researchers interested in learning more are invited to attend an i2I Skills Training Info Session. The event will take place in person at Simon Fraser University’s Big Data Hub, as well as live online for participants across Canada.
